This week’s Mets Weekly had to have had the most interesting segment I’ve ever seen on the show. That was the one about the guy who stitches all the letters & numbers onto the jerseys. I like seeing how things are put together and I like clothes (a lot!) so I enjoyed it. It’s one of those things you sort of take for granted – the jerseys are always top notch, but how it gets that way is completely another thing. The insider tidbits like Johan Santana’s left sleeve being larger than the others or Pedro Martinez wanting extra material under his arms was neat to hear about too.
And then we got the “best dressed” awards from the Mets. David sure likes the purple. He rocks that alllll the time. Also, who knew Scott Schoeneweis could be such the comedian? Not me!

I thought this was the best Mets Weekly episode I had seen in a long time. I loved the parts at the charity event and I really like when David Wright was kinda being a “co-host”!
